INTSITE has raised $1.4M in total. We talked with Tzach Ram-On, its CEO.

How would you describe INTSITE in a single tweet?

Enhancing safety and efficiency of heavy machinery through AI-powered automation.

How did it all start and why?

The reason that I’ve started this venture is because a few years back, as a construction engineer, I noticed that our industry suffers from a very unique problem, that causes massive delays in construction timelines and cost huge amount of money to the construction industry. The interesting part is that during the last 6 months we have been reached out by global companies from other traditional markets. Now I understand clearly that we solve the same problem to many industries: There is a piece of unsafe heavy-machinery standing in a middle of a process; it can be cranes in the construction process, excavators and dump-trucks in mines or off-shore cranes during ships unloading. All suffers from the human factor – and we are here to help the operators to do their job in a better and safer way using our machine-vision patent pending technology. Luckily I had in a position where my twin-brother my Co-Founder Mor was a GNC engineer in an Israeli homeland security company. The rest is history.

What have you achieved so far?

In 14 month of hard work we achieved the most important thing for a startup company: a product market fit. We have now two solutions with CE certification. One for cranes, and the other for earth-moving machines.  Our team grew from 2 to 20, and we have happy and satisfied clients that now can use and enjoy  the power of AI.

What do you plan to achieve in the next 2-3 years?

To fulfill our vision: To become a technology market leader for heavy-machinery automation by transforming the performance of traditional industries, using AI and Machine vision.
