We talked with Gary Fowler, a serial entrepreneur.
What was your first start-up and how did you start?
My first startup was when I was in my early 20’s. Later in my life I created GVA LaunchGurus accelerator based on the pain I had trying to find mentors, investors and advisors. It was actually a construction company where I streamlined the processes and searched for progressive designs that had not been done in that region before. I used innovative techniques like predesigning the homes in a factory and then assembling on premise. The houses where up to 7,000 square feet. They each had the latest innovations from advanced hvac, security, construction materials, etc.
How many start-ups you’re currently running?
I am currently running 5 startup companies.
Which one is your favourite?
My favorite so far is Yva.ai. I co-founded that with Dr. David Yang. We have recently been recognized as one of the 10 AI enterprise Companies and one of the HR Technology companies.
What’s your vision behind them?
Do Customer Discovery, be agile, do what you say, don’t give up and hire and partner with the best people in the world who share your vision.
What do you want to achieve in the next 3-5 years?
I want to continue to build at least 2 billion dollar companies.
