iNBOTiQA has raised £1.1m in total. We talk with Liza Russell, its CEO.
PetaCrunch: How would you describe iNBOTIQA in a single tweet?
Liza Russell: Intelligent Business Email: making the world’s #1 business communication tool fit for purpose. Less risk & cost, analytics, better service.
PC: How did it all start and why?
LR: The company was originally founded after our CPO, having worked in investment banking, often saw significant email-related operational losses, such as from overlooking a single corporate actions email. Ludre and co-founder Vishal recognised that email needed to be made fit for purpose for business while retaining all its benefits. Email is flexible, universally used by businesses, customers and suppliers, and is an official communications tool. However, it was never designed for business, especially high-volume and group mailboxes receiving business-critical instructions.
PC: What have you achieved so far?
LR: Inbotiqa’s core YUDOmail platform is live in 13 different locations around the world, with Tier 1 Banks and major international BPOs among our clients. The implementation of our core YUDOmail platform results in significant improvements for teams. Our analytics have recorded results including a 40% reduction in email volume, a 55% reduction in average time spent managing an inbox and a 282% increase in same-day turnaround SLA achievement.
We were one of 10 companies selected for the 2019 Barclays Accelerator powered by Techstars in London. We graduated in May having agreed the fastest-ever POC in the history of the programme and are continuing to work with the Barclays technology team on implementation across a number of departments.
PC: How will you use your recent funding round?
LR: We are currently preparing for a Pre-Series A round of funding in order to continue growing the team and our hub in Belfast, to expand to the US and to increase our product and service offering. We will be building out our RPA-routing and YUDOsmart machine learning functionality, expanding our footprints within our existing client base and rolling out to new clients following successful pilots.
PC: What do you plan to achieve in the next 2-3 years?
LR: We believe there is an opportunity to become the omni-communication channel for business.
Companies have spent millions trying to build effective in-house workflow tools to solve their email issues and the industry is littered with the skeletons of these. Similarly, workflow, chat and other tools are utilised by organisations but they don’t provide a comprehensive solution or are not appropriate at an enterprise level. In any case, anything that official ends up in email. Inbotiqa will incorporate email, chat, voice, messaging and workflow into a single business communication solution.
